A seminar was held about the project titled "Carbon Fiber Production from Coal" by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sabri Çelik.

The seminar about the project titled "Carbon Fiber Production from Coal" of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sabri Çelik, one of the faculty members of our department, was held in the seminar room of our department.

We would like to thank our esteemed professor for his valuable contributions and everyone who attended.

The Mineral Processing Engineering education at the Istanbul Technical University has started as a division of the "Mining Engineering Department" which was formed as a part of the Mining Faculty in 1953. The division was re-organized as a department of the same faculty in 2007, in order to meet the requirements of engineering education.
