40th International Pittsburgh Coal Conference (2023)

The 40th International Pittsburgh Coal Conference (PCC) was held at Tüyap Palas hotel between 4-6 October 2023. We would like to thank all our sponsors as well as our main sponsor, Turkish Coal Enterprises (TKİ), at the conference held in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh, Domestic Mining Development Foundation and ITU Mineral Processing Engineering Department.

İTÜ Department of Mineral Processing Engineering

The Mineral Processing Engineering education at the Istanbul Technical University has started as a division of the "Mining Engineering Department" which was formed as a part of the Mining Faculty in 1953. The division was re-organized as a department of the same faculty in 2007, in order to meet the requirements of engineering education.
